I have had the privilege of working at Ty Hafan Children's Hospice for over 15 years, most recently as the Director for all our family wellbeing services which includes our pre and post death bereavement support. As a qualified Social Worker, a needs led, person centred approach is integral to my practice and supporting families to build resilience and emotional wellbeing core to our service delivery. With significant experience of supporting dying children and their families I have a good understanding of what helps to make a good death and dying process and the sorts of supports families find helpful in terms of reshaping their lives around their loss.
