Sarah Washington is a freelance consultant specialising in high-value fundraising from major donors, corporates and trusts & foundations.

Her experience spans international development, humanitarian response, social mobility, education and most recently arts and heritage. Prior to consultancy, Sarah held Director level roles at ActionAid UK and at Sir Lewis Hamilton’s Grant-making Foundation, Mission 44. She has developed significant transformational partnerships and campaigns with philanthropic supporters at organisations, including UNICEF, VSO and the International Rescue Committee. Prior to her fundraising career she worked in Marketing and Advertising in London, managing corporate accounts in the financial services sector. She is Trustee of STIR Education and in her spare time loves photography, live music, travel and running around after her 4 year old son and cat Ella.
