Ryan Pitts joined Oxfam America in July 2020 as the Senior Officer of Corporate Partnerships. This role focuses on workplace giving, employee engagement, cause-related marketing, thought leadership and other strategies for engaging companies to raise revenue to increase the ability to achieve Oxfam’s mission. Ryan brings strong experience in business strategy, organizational development, communications and negotiations, sourcing new partnership opportunities and markets. In his last position, Ryan directed sales and business development for the Chronicle of Philanthropy, helping build partnerships with foundations, nonprofits and corporate partners. He has managed new business development, sponsorship, membership, CSR, workplace giving, corporate and employee volunteerism and other approaches for building deep engagements on behalf of the Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce, America’s Charities, American Red Cross, Youth for Understanding and other organizations. While based in DC, Ryan knows Boston well, having earned a Masters from Boston University. Originally from Ohio, Ryan is an avid Ohio State sports fan, however, he earned his bachelors from the University of Dayton (Dayton, OH).
