Robin Plowman is the Community and Challenge Events Manager at Alcohol Change UK, the charity behind Dry January®, where he’s developed and manages the challenge events portfolio, creates and co-ordinates community products/campaigns and manages the stewardship for Dry January® fundraisers.

With 16 years’ experience working in the third sector within fundraising for charities including Sue Ryder, Sense, Spinal Research and the Institute of Cancer Research he knows firsthand the power of relationship management to drive fundraising with supporters.

You can often find him running somewhere, including taking part in race days with some of charity teams, and he’s usually fundraising personally for his running exploits. This comes in handy when supporting participants through their event experience.
