Penne is Head of New Business at Global Witness, where she leads on identifying and securing new strategic partnership and funding opportunities with Trusts, Foundations, and Institutional donors. Prior to joining Global Witness in July 2022, Penne spent almost 4 years at ClientEarth, primarily focusing on growing the organisation’s name, and building new funding partnerships, with Trusts and Foundations in the US market. Across her career, she has held a number of other fundraising roles including at Wigmore Hall and the National Literacy Trust. She is a former CIOF Cultural Sector Network London Events Committee Member, and is currently a Volunteer Board Member at FemMentored, a global mentoring community for women in the social impact space
