Phew…the Fundraising Everywhere Festival is finished!

We understand the importance of down-time to reflect, consolidate, and prioritise learnings to be able to choose and move forward with positive changes. But with the increase of virtual events at our fingertips, it can be hard to find the time.

You might feel like you’re rushing from one virtual event to the next without actually learning anything new. You might even be feeling overwhelmed instead of empowered with new knowledge.

But those ideas and confidence are still there – we just have to take a moment to look for it.

We’ve partnered with Claire Warner and can wholeheartedly recommend her SHINE challenge: a free 5-day wellbeing and resilience challenge for fundraisers. And we’re not talking just quinoa, green mush and yoga, we’re talking practical hints, tips and accountability to kick-start a new commitment to focusing on your own wellbeing and building your resilience.

How Does It Work?

Join us on the week of 18t-25th of May 2020!

SHINE is run online by email and in a private facebook group.

Each morning Claire will post in the dedicated Facebook group and you will receive an email with that day’s learning and task.

You need to come back into the Facebook group and post your questions /  results into that day’s thread.  Claire and her challenge team will be in the group all day, every day, to answer any questions you may have. Then, at alternating between 4pm UK one day and 8pm UK the next (to make it as accessible as possible) each day, we will hold a live group chat and Facebook live, where we will share our experiences of that day’s tasks, ask questions and learn from each other’s experience as well as our own

Wine, spirits, pyjamas, children, pets – anything goes in the group – it really is meant to add to your week, not take away from it. By the end of the week, you will have had a taster into what commitment to your wellbeing feels like; will have started assembling your SHINE arsenal of Wellbeing and Resilience hints and tips, some of which you will have already tried yourself, and others which you will have seen and heard about others trying; and will have had support to make positive change to your focus on Well and on You, from others in the group.

The tasks should take you absolutely no more than half an hour to complete, some days less than that. 

When we send you the confirmation email to say you’re on the list, you will also receive the link to join the private Facebook group.
