In addition to becoming newly minted with Parkinson’s Disease, Mo Onstad recently founded and is the Executive Director of The Unsteady Hand- an Artist Collective. The Unsteady Hand is a Colorado-based 501(c)3 that provides creative experiences for those with Parkinson’s Disease in Colorado Springs, Pueblo, and Denver. Over the last two years, Mo and The Unsteady Hand crew has raised just over $40,000 from individual donors, events, and grant writing. He believes all fundraising begins with details as simple as developing meaningful relationships and being able to articulate your passion and impact. He is thrilled to have the opportunity to share his inner art monster, funding successes, and his stellar blunders in the area of development for artistic endeavors.
