Ben is the Group Head of ESG at IG Group. He is responsible for IG’s ESG strategy which includes, for example, overseeing IG’s community outreach programmes and developing initiatives to reduce IG’s impact on the environment.

Ben graduated from the University of Oxford with a degree in PPE before spending four years in the City as a solicitor for Herbert Smith Freehills. Ben then became an English teacher through the Teach First programme, before moving to a role managing Teach First’s corporate partnerships.

Each of these experiences have fuelled Ben’s interests in responsible and sustainable business.
