Louise is the Director of Fundraising at Refuge and leads a team responsible for generating voluntary income which is 50% of Refuge’s total income. The fundraising team inspires the public to support Refuge’s vital work. This takes many forms; harnessing the power and the energy of the existing gender equality movement to take action, participate in events and make financial gifts. The team also galvanises support from high value individuals and foundations, and strikes innovative, strategic corporate partnerships. The fundraising team has undergone a transformation, and has tripled income within two years.
Louise was previously the Director of Fundraising at Stonewall and has also held several senior fundraising positions across the sector, including the NSPCC. Louise’s early career was in commercial brand experiences.

Louise has been a champion for equality, diversity and inclusion throughout her career and is proud to be an LGBT+ role model, finally she holds a Diploma in Fundraising from the Chartered Institute of Fundraising.
